Research is the only way we’ll find new ways to prevent, diagnose and
treat dementia – and we urgently need more people to get involved.
Right now, over 95,000 people are signed up to hear about dementia
research studies they can take part in. But we’re setting ourselves a
challenge, with a goal to reach 100,000 volunteers in 2026 – and you
could help us get there.
People with or without dementia can take part. As can those of us caring
for someone with dementia. Because every person holds a vital piece of
the puzzle.
There are many ways to take part in a study. You may be asked to complete
an online memory and thinking test from home. Or you might be invited to
have a brain scan or to help test new treatments. But no matter which type
of study it is, it will move us closer to a cure.
